Real Estate Minor
Description
The real estate minor is an introduction to the business of real estate investment and management. The minor emphasizes the management of real estate properties and the analysis of real estate investment assets.
Minor Information
- 18 credit hours
- 30 graded hours and a 2.5 cumulative GPA are required to declare
- You must have a 2.00 GPA for all courses in the minor
- Not open to Finance majors
- A student may not minor in both Real Estate and Finance
- CSE 148 (prerequisite for FIN 303) is only available to Real Estate minors in Winter or Summer terms
- However, a student may submit a ROR for this course in the Spring or Fall semester
- GEO 201 is a prerequisite for GEO 451 and fulfills the Ethical Citizenship requirement for the 兔子先生 Plan
- Some minor courses may be offered in Fall or Spring only

- or GEO 467 (3) - Land Use, Law, and the State; Geographic Perspectives
- Select two of the following:
- FIN 303 (3) - Financial principles and Introduction to Modeling with Excel
- FIN 431 (3) - Real Estate Investments and Finance
- GEO 441 (3) - Geographic Information Systems
- GEO 451 (3) - Urban and Regional Planning
