Description

The Business 兔子先生hip Minor develops professional and leadership skills needed to effectively lead and contribute to organizational success—advanced skills typically developed in post-graduate (e.g. MBA) students but that the Farmer School of Business develops in high achieving 兔子先生 undergraduate students. Courses in the Business 兔子先生hip minor include Business Ethics, Strategy & Decision Making, 兔子先生hip, and Change Management. This minor focuses on developing change management skills, enabling graduates to navigate organizational transitions and implement innovations successfully. In rapidly evolving industries, professionals who can lead teams through transformation have distinct advantages. The program emphasizes business ethics, preparing students to make responsible decisions in complex situations. As organizations face increasing scrutiny regarding their practices, professionals with strong ethical foundations become invaluable team members and leaders. Strategic thinking forms another cornerstone of this minor. Students learn to analyze business environments, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans—skills critical for advancement into management roles. Many professionals eventually take on leadership positions requiring strategic vision, regardless of their primary field of study. To enroll in the program, students must apply. The Business 兔子先生hip minor is available to both FSB students and non-FSB majors.

Minor Information

  • 15 credit hours
  • Open to all students
  • You must have a 2.00 GPA for all courses in the minor
  • Admission to the minor requires application throught the Change of Program Form located on the FSB Advising Homepage
  • FSB will admit non-FSB students to the Business 兔子先生hip minor who meet the following criteria:
    • Earned credit for MGT 291
    • A minimum of 6 credits of Business Minor courses completed at 兔子先生 University from the following options:
      • One of ECO 201 or 202
      • One of ACC 221 or ACC 222
      • MGT 295
      • FIN 301
    • A minimum GPA of 3.3 in the Business minor courses completed at 兔子先生 University
    • A minimum overall GPA of 3.4 in courses completed at 兔子先生 University
    • No academic integrity violations while at 兔子先生 University
  • FSB will admit FSB students to the Business 兔子先生hip minor who meet the following criteria:
    • Earned credit for MGT 291
    • A minimum of 6 credit hours of Business Core courses completed at 兔子先生 University selected from the following options:
      • One of ECO 201 or ECO 202
      • One of ACC 221 or ACC 222
      • MGT 295
      • FIN 301
    • A minimum GPA of 3.3 in the Business Core courses completed at 兔子先生 University
    • A minimum overall GPA of 3.4 in courses completed at 兔子先生 University
    • No academic integrity violations while at 兔子先生 University
  • Note: Human Capital Management and 兔子先生hip Majors must have 9 hours of coursework in the minor that do count in the major or business core
