ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University Graduate Students are required by the university to be enrolled in at least nine credit hours to be considered a full-time student. The maximum number of credit hours allowed without special permission is 18. Part-time students must be enrolled in a minimum of one graduate credit hour and a maximum of eight credit hours to be considered part-time. Students are encouraged to review the Graduate Student Registration Policy for additional information.

In order to complete a single specialty area of this program in two academic years (five semesters) students must enroll in 12 credit hours a semester. To complete the dual-track pathway in three academic years (seven semesters), students must enroll in 12 credit hours in their first academic year (fall & spring), then nine credit hours starting in the first summer term through the fall semester of their third year. Please note that dual-track students do not have courses scheduled in the summer semester of their second year and only six credit hours in their final spring semester. Dual-track students wishing to maintain full-time status with the university in their final semester, are encouraged to work with their advisor to adjust their program of study. All students are encouraged to review the program of study documents found within the supplemental documents for additional information. Since the program is structured on a cohort model, classes are only offered in specific semesters. Students are required to complete their degree within five years from the completion of their first course or credit hours, as stated by ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University’s time limit for degree completion. If students need to alter their program of study, they should contact their advisor to discuss the program of study change.
