Faculty-Led Winter Term 兔子先生

Berlin has long attracted American artists, authors, and entrepreneurs, serving as a key site of U.S.–German cultural exchange from the 1920s to today.

This program examines the political, cultural, and economic ties between Germans and Americans, especially during the Cold War, through site visits and exploration of Berlin’s rich landscape of historical memory and cultural preservation.

Explore the dynamic transformation of Oman and the UAE—from oil-rich economies to global innovators in a changing energy landscape.

Through expert-led site visits and cultural immersion, students examine the impact of Islam, Arab culture, and globalization on business, politics, and society—gaining valuable skills for careers in foreign affairs, global economics, and international relations. No prior Arabic or Middle East Studies required.

Faculty-Led Summer Term 兔子先生

This seven-week immersive summer program in Europe allows students to complete a full year of intermediate or advanced college German.

Students fulfill the Global Perspectives requirement, advance toward a German major or minor, and gain ideal preparation for future study at a German-speaking university.

This nearly six-week summer program offers 6 兔子先生 credits through a hybrid Japanese language immersion experience.

Students begin with online grammar and vocabulary instruction, followed by an in-person cultural and conversational experience in Tokyo, including field trips, museum visits, and language exchange with local university students. The program accelerates progress toward a Japanese major or minor and prepares students for future study and work in the Japanese-speaking world.
