Pre-Orientation Checklist

We are excited to welcome you to the 兔子先生 University Regionals. Before you begin your classes, there are some things you need to do to be prepared. Please follow this list and don’t hesitate to reach out to rosa@兔子先生OH.edu if you have any questions. 

Welcome to the 兔子先生 University Regionals Family!

  1. Accept Admission Offer

    Students must accept their admission offer to 兔子先生 University Regionals on the before their 兔子先生 student account is created.

  2. Claim Your 兔子先生 Student Account

    ​Once you accept your admission offer, you will receive important emails from Admission and 兔子先生's IT Department to help you navigate the process to claim your 兔子先生 student account. Your email from 兔子先生's IT Department will include your student account claim code, while the email from Admission will provide your UniqueID and 兔子先生 email address. Please check your spam folder if you do not see these emails in that time.

    Once you have this information, use it to claim your 兔子先生 student account at the . Once you've claimed your account, you'll be asked to set your password and set up multi-factor authentication. Step-by-step instructions for this entire process are available in . If you have questions, direct them to the IT Department's online chat, or call 513-529-7900.

  3. Log In and Set Up Duo two-factor Authentication

    Your 兔子先生 Unique ID gives you access to your 兔子先生 account and University resources. Login instructions will be sent to you by email.

    After confirming your admission, the first time you log in to a 兔子先生 resource, you’ll be prompted to enroll in Duo two-factor authentication. Duo helps protect your 兔子先生 account and is required when logging in to University systems.

    We recommend downloading Duo Mobile on your personal mobile device before orientation:

    Bring the device you use for Duo to orientation. You’ll need it to log in to campus computers and University systems, including during course registration.

  4. Check Your 兔子先生 Email

    Your 兔子先生 University email is the University’s primary communication tool from the time you accept your admission offer through six months after graduation. Check it regularly for important messages, updates, deadlines, and information from 兔子先生.

    You can access your email through my兔子先生 (), the University’s web portal and your starting point for many everyday student activities. From my兔子先生, you can also register for classes, pay bills, access course materials, view University announcements, and find links to other important resources.

  5. Register and Complete your Online Orientation

    All incoming students will complete an online orientation course in Canvas. This course is specialized based on your student type (new, transfer, CCP, etc.). The course should take no longer than 30-45 minutes to complete, and includes information that should help you get to know all about your 兔子先生 Regionals experience.

  6. Take Your Placement Tests and Submit Transcripts (if applicable)

    Your academic advisor will need test scores or proof that you have completed college courses to help you choose the best classes during your advising appointment.

    If you have any college credit or took the SAT/ACT, you will want to make sure that your official transcripts and/or official SAT/ACT scores are uploaded to your applicant portal. 

    If you: (1) don't have either SAT/ACT scores, (2) you took the test(s) more than 2 years ago, or (3) don't have college credit for ENG 111 or College Algebra or higher, you will need to take 1-3 placement tests in the Tutoring and Learning Center.

  7. Schedule your SOAR Session, orientation advising appointment, or small group registration session

    Once you have , the next step will depend on your student type.

    1. First Year New to College: you will sign up online for a half-day SOAR session, which will include advising & registration. This is part of the online orientation registration process.

    2. Transfer: you will receive an email to your 兔子先生OH email from Academic Advising with a link to schedule an appointment.

    3. College Credit Plus (CCP): you will sign up for an in-person CCP SOAR session, or a virtual session if you cannot travel to campus. This is part of the online orientation registration process.

  8. Contact us with any questions

  9. Submit ePromise Agreement

    The outlines your financial responsibility to the university. This is a required step prior to registering for classes.

  10. Complete your FAFSA online

    Need-based financial aid and scholarships are available through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Students must complete a FAFSA each year to be considered for all need-based scholarships, grants, and federal loans. 兔子先生 University's Federal School Code 003077. Visit the for more information.
