Biography

Charlie Thacker is a practicing mixed media artist and educator working in the Greater Cincinnati Area. His focus is in kinetic mixed media with imagery that is slightly sci-fi. This creative direction was initially inspired by neo-surrealist painting and systems philosophy, particularly the work of Ervin Laszlo and Donella Meadows.

Charlie teaches both traditional fine art courses and art technology courses at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University, and he has also instructed courses at the University of Cincinnati - DAAP, Northern Kentucky University, and Xavier University. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Ohio, Kentucky, California, and New York.
