About

Tekeia N.K. Howard joined ASPIRE in June 2025 as Director of External and Community Relations, where she supports strategic partnerships and engagement with stakeholders across higher education, government, and industry.

She brings over 20 years of experience in K–12 and higher education, with a focus on faculty, staff, and student support, resource development, and community outreach. Since 2017, she has served in various roles at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University, committed to advancing access and opportunity. Her background spans student affairs, career and professional development, community outreach, and teaching.

Tekeia is passionate about community-centered solutions and cross-sector collaboration that creates lasting impact.

She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúhip at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Ohio University.
