Sharon L. Custer, Ph.D., LISW-S

About

Sharon joined the ASPIRE Office in 2024 and works alongside the Vice President to advance presidential priorities and manage projects, grants, and daily operations.

Dr. Custer has been with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú since 2011, having worked for ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú's Family Science and Social Work Department and the School-Based Center of Excellence for Prevention and Early Intervention. Prior to coming to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, Sharon served families and children in various roles throughout Butler County as a licensed independent social worker (LISW-S).

Sharon graduated from ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University in Political Science and Sociology in 1997. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati in 1999, and she returned to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú's classrooms to receive her Ph.D. in Educational ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúhip in 2019. As an undergrad at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, Sharon was active in the marching band and worked at the Rec Center.
