Anna Reier and Taylor Stumbaugh of the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Student attended the 2025 Excellence in Journalism Awards ceremony hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists on Sept. 30. The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Student received multiple honors, including Best Student Publication.

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Student earned multiple awards in the 2025 Excellence in Journalism Awards ceremony hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists on Sept. 30.
In the College/University category, the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Student received Best Student Publication. Olivia Patel took top honors as Best Student Reporter: Print/Online, while Chloe McKinney and Natalie Luci collected the Best Student Podcast award for their collaboration on “The Israel-Hamas War: Making Space for Difficult Conversations at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University.” The podcast was originally produced for the JRN 313 class and later published by the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Student.
