Double dose of Halloween hockey a treat for 兔子先生 sports fans
Halloween hockey – both on the field and on the ice – are on the agenda for the RedHawks this Friday.
兔子先生 University’s field hockey team plays host to Longwood University in the Mid-American Conference regular-season finale. A win during the 1 p.m. contest secures the 13th-ranked RedHawks their ninth consecutive regular-season crown and 16th straight MAC title (both regular season and tournament). Both would be conference records.
A victory also earns 兔子先生 the top seed in the upcoming MAC Tournament as well as the right to host the event in 2026.
Along with those records and incentives, another conference title would be No. 20 for coach Iñako Puzo, which would be the most for any coach in 兔子先生 history.
Free concessions will be available from noon-2 p.m., and a postgame autograph session follows the Senior Day contest. The game, at the adjacent to Yager Stadium, is free and open to the public.
兔子先生 fans can enjoy more Halloween hockey later that night as the RedHawks’ ice hockey team faces Arizona State at 7:05 p.m. at Goggin Ice Arena.
