Adaptive Nature Walk on Wheels: Explore Oxford Area Trails Oct. 5

For handcyclists and friends, this nature walk on wheels, led by biologist Yoshi Tomoyasu, is co-sponsored by Cincinnati-based The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation

Adaptive Nature Walk on Wheels: Explore Oxford Area Trails Oct. 5

Yoshi Tomoyasu, associate professor of Biology (on handcycle) will lead an adaptive nature walk on wheels, with participants from The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation

Join Yoshi Tomoyasu, associate professor of Biology, and other ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú biologists for this 10 a.m.-noon, Sunday, Oct. 5. The event begins at the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University Natural Areas , 4824 Oxford Trenton Road, and will follow the Oxford Area Trails (OATS). 

The field trip will take place mainly on paved trails through scenic autumn woods on the (OATS), but may venture off the path to get closer to the wild.  Participants can learn about and explore Ohio’s native habitats, discover local wildlife, and learn about the impact of invasive species.

The event is open to handcyclists, family, and friends (bring your own bike or sign up if in need of a handcycle).
