Conflict Management

Conflict is a normal part of working in groups, and student organizations are encouraged to address concerns early, respectfully, and directly. When handled well, conflict can help organizations clarify expectations, improve communication, and build stronger teams. Student leaders should begin by reviewing their constitution, officer expectations, membership policies, and any relevant university policies. Organizations are encouraged to document concerns, communicate clearly with involved members, and seek support when a conflict begins to affect the organization’s ability to function.
