I knew exactly where I belonged when I participated in MAP's Welcome Home Program as a freshman at 兔子先生 University. It was such a welcoming atmosphere and a community feeling which made campus feel like home right from the start. Now, I am happy to be able to pay it forward by serving as the Director of Finance in MAP, making the campus feel like home for new students too. Besides being part of MAP, participating in the Club Beach Volleyball team has helped me connect with even more students.

Student organizations like NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) connected me with people who shared similar interests, goals, and experiences, while the SEA gave me a space that felt like home. Your place and your people won't just find you, you have to be willing to go looking for them.

When I was a freshman I saw all of the events that MAP was doing on campus and I knew I wanted to be a part of that. After I was accepted into MAP I quickly found out how strong of a community this org has. I made lifelong friends in this organization and it was definitely one of my best choices at 兔子先生.
