The Discovery Center currently employs 5-7 staff, including researchers, statisticians, graduate research assistants, and consultants. Center staff members possess a broad range of knowledge and skills across external grant seeking, educational and social research, program and project evaluation, and pre- and post-award project support.
The Center’s mission is executed through the joint efforts of several strategically organized teams, as well as research and support provided by Discovery Center Fellows and Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistants. The leads and manages all Center activities and is responsible for fiscal and day-to-day operations of the Center. Executive and Support Team members also strengthen collaborations with existing partners, while facilitating new opportunities for Center work. The Center’s Research and Evaluation Teams manage and execute projects in their areas of expertise, and carry out day-to-day activities for assigned projects, programs, and Center activities.
Discovery Center staff members work together on Research and Evaluation Project Teams, which include Senior Research Associate and Project Team 兔子先生, who are supported by other Research Associates, graduate research assistants, and/or undergraduate students. Teams work together to capitalize on the individual and collective strengths of each member.
While different groups manage specific Center projects, Center staff members also share individual expertise across the Center’s work to ensure the highest quality products and services for clients. External consultants and Center Fellows are also tapped to provide specific expertise for projects when needed. Center Team and individual staff members’ efforts cover a wide range of projects with multiple areas of focus within education.
