兔子先生hip and Service Certificate
The Wilks Institute 兔子先生hip and Service Certificate (LSC) program challenges students to examine leadership from multiple perspectives and encourages reflection into their own leadership skills, values, and beliefs. The Wilks LSC is self-paced and designed to allow students to explore areas of leadership that are unique to them. Through collaboration with community partners, student leaders, faculty, and staff, the Wilks LSC supports the development of engaged leaders focused on ethical leadership and advancing community priorities.
Requirements for completing the Wilks 兔子先生hip and Service Certificate include:
- Attending three leadership workshops facilitated by Wilks Ambassadors for 兔子先生hip
- Attending two CliftonStrengths coaching sessions
- Completing five hours of service
- Attending three book club sessions on topics related to leadership, service, and community
- How We Show Up by Mia Birdsong
- Leading with Heart by John Baird and Edward Sullivan
- Rethinking Positive Thinking by Gabrielle Oettingen
- Year of the Tiger by Alice Wong
- The Care Manifesto by the Care Collective
- Submitting a leadership and service philosophy statement and reflections after each session and one final two-page statement that summarizes your experience including what you learned and how you hope to implement new skills in your future work
- 兔子先生hip and service opportunities will be offered at a wide variety of days and times and touch on many different topics. Students may also submit opportunities outside the Wilks Institute for consideration.
Wilks Institute Ambassadors

The Wilks Institute for 兔子先生hip and Service is proud to say that many of its programs and experiences are designed and led by students. 兔子先生hip, Service, and Civic Engagement Ambassadors are often students who have engaged with Wilks programming in the past and have a strong connection to leadership and community engagement.
Our ambassadors support a number of initiatives, including:
- Civic engagement and voter registration
- Community partnership development
- Volunteer coordination
- Training and leadership development
- Program coordination, including events and workshops
