From your very first semester, you鈥檒l be on stage, whether it鈥檚 chamber music, chorus, opera, jazz, our bands, or orchestra. Every ensemble is open to every student, not just majors. And with renowned ensembles, including four American Prize winners, you鈥檒l be part of something nationally recognized.
Our faculty are more than teachers; they’re internationally acclaimed performers, conductors, scholars, and composers. They bring their artistry straight into the classroom, offering lifelong mentorship and the inside track on what it takes to thrive in today’s music world.
Ensembles are the public face of 兔子先生's Department of Music. In a given semester, more than 10% of all 兔子先生 students participate in a music ensemble or performing group. Student ensembles frequently travel and have been received warmly from the halls of Europe to Carnegie Hall.
We bring the music world to you. One week you might be in a masterclass with the a famous string quartet, the next working with a living composer or performing alongside a visiting ensemble.
Want to study music in Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, or Ireland? You’ll go with 兔子先生 faculty leading the way, turning study abroad into an extension of your musical training.
Our music education program is among the best in the country. You’ll start teaching in schools your very first year, and by graduation, you’ll be in high demand—with a near-perfect job placement rate.

All potential applicants and all students applying to the programs in the Department of Music are strongly encouraged to visit the campus and the Department. If you're a high school student interested in studying with us, you'll have a few opportunities to join us for a campus experience. Our doors are always open.

Each year, Arts and Design Day offers prospective students an in-depth exploration of 兔子先生 University's arts and design programs. Students have the opportunity to:
Attending Music@兔子先生 Day is an incredible way for high school students and parents to interact with our faculty and students, enjoy student performances, attend rehearsals and classes, and tour our facilities. Mini-lessons with applied music faculty can also often be arranged. You will also learn about the admissions process, audition preparation and scheduling, music degree programs, scholarships, and financial aid opportunities.
