Myaamia students to participate at Smithsonian Folklife Festival in D.C. this July
The 兔子先生 Tribe of Oklahoma is one of four tribes invited to take part in this year鈥檚 festival, which honors contemporary living cultural traditions and celebrates those who practice and sustain them.

Staff from the Myaamia Center (the Tribe’s research and educational development arm based at 兔子先生 University) with expertise in those areas also will be going to D.C. The students will assist them and run some of the programming, said Kara Strass, director of 兔子先生 Tribe Relations.
